Polypropylene (Mangpol)

We are authorised distributors of Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals Ltd for their Mangpol Polypropylene products. MRPL presently offers homopolymer polypropylene grades only. Details are as follows.

PP Raffia (HR003) – For woven sacks and ropes

PP Injection Moulding (HM012T) – For general purpose injection moulding

PP TQ Film (HF010) – For TQ films

PP Lamination (HY035R/HY035UR) – For non woven textiles, lamination and compounding

High Performance Filler Compounds

We manufacture Base Resin Filler Compounds (BRFC) and general purpose Filler master batches.

Base Resin Filler Compounds (BRFC)

BRFC are special filler compounds prepared by compounding calcium carbonate with base resin of intended application. For example - LLDPE base BRFC are prepared by compounding with 1MFI LLDPE film grades. Similarly HDPE base BRFC are prepared with High Molecular weight HDPE film grades. We have categorized the grades in two series.

PRM series

PRM series is our LLDPE BRFC. Grades are prepared by compounding ultra fine calcium carbonate with low MFI LLDPE resin in Twin Screw Hybrid line. Products characteristics are as follows.

Very good dispersion

Improved bubble stability

Antiblock and improved printability

Superior dart impact and sealing properties

Suitable for monolayer and multilayer

Recommended for Shopping bags, Liners and Drip laterals

Special grades with loading >75% in monolayer also available for liners

STIFF series

STIFF series is our HDPE BRFC. Grades are prepared by compounding ultra fine calcium carbonate with low MFI High molecular weight HDPE resin in Twin Screw Hybrid line. Products characteristics are as follows.

Very good dispersion and improved opacity

Superior dart impact and stiffness

Suitable for monolayer and multilayer

Recommended for ABA films, Blow Moulding articles etc

Special grades with loading >80% in ABA film also available

Filler Master batches

General purpose anti fibrillating filler master batches for PP/HDPE Raffia, Ropes and PP Non woven are also available. These grades are available under our HF series. Product characteristics are as given below.

Complete range from performance grades to economy grades

Available in PP and LLDPE carrier resin with Calcium carbonate and Talc

Suitable for high line speeds

Superior balance of elongation and strength

Specialty Compounds

We also manufacture specialty compounds for niche applications. We are currently making breathable compounds and surface functionality modifier compounds (hydrophilic & hydrophobic) for hygiene products industry. Please contact us for further details regarding this product.
